The LEGO Botanicals is changing, moving from Adults Welcome to a theme for all ages with its January 2026 wave.
LEGO Botanicals started out under the LEGO Icons theme, complete with the all-black box artwork and the 18+ tag. Over time, as LEGO Botanicals has stepped out of that umbrella and into its own, some of the smaller, simpler sets have popped up with younger age bands.
That's especially true for the January 2026 wave, where 11508 Daisies and 11509 Flowering Cactus are both geared towards those aged nine and up. Unlike some of the LEGO Botanicals sets geared towards younger builders that have come before, they are just as complex, intricate, and detailed as those for older fans, just on a smaller scale.
