UK retailer starts fulfilling LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga orders

A UK video game retailer has started fulfilling orders for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, months ahead of the title’s spring 2022 release date.

According to Brick Fanatics reader Nick, and multiple users on reddit, GAME has begun charging fans who’ve pre-ordered the saga-spanning sequel. That normally wouldn’t happen until the game ships out – and indeed, the same customers have also received emails stating their game is being packed, ready for delivery.

Last we heard, Warner Bros. and TT Games’ long-delayed LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is launching sometime around spring 2022, which is still a little ways off. Unless that date has been suddenly and unexpectedly brought forward – or GAME’s delivery service is fulfilling orders from, erm, Mars – this is probably just a huge mistake on the retailer’s part.

If you fall into the camp of fans charged seemingly ahead of schedule for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, your best bet is likely to contact GAME’s customer service department to figure out what the deal is. And if you do somehow find yourself playing LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in a few days’ time, drop us a line, yeah?
