There's rumoured to be a shift in LEGO advent calendars for 2026, with two licensed options said to be gone in 2026.
According to rumours reported by lego_minecraft_goat via reddit, there will be no LEGO Minecraft or Harry Potter advent calendars in 2026. The calendar previously rumoured under the set number 76340 is now expected to be a LEGO Marvel calendar.
Advent calendars saw some heavy discounts in 2025, with some going as much as 50% and 76456 Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 in particular was reduced by 30%. That could be a sign of lower interest in the festive sets than usual, perhaps giving a reason to this change.
LEGO Harry Potter has had an advent calendar for the last seven years, while Minecraft had its inaugural one in 2025. If this rumour proves to be true, the experiment at a holiday calendar based on the blocky game didn't go well.
Of course, we won't know for sure whether the rejig of the LEGO advent calendars is happening until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, so take it with the usual pinch of salt for now. With the seasonal products typically not releasing until September, it might be a while yet until we know for sure.
