Pick a Brick is going to come in handy later this year when the summer 2025 sets are eventually added to the service, since the summer 2025 sets are a treasure trove of exciting new elements. There's something for every kind of enthusiast, from city builders to Disney fans.

Here are some of the best new pieces in the LEGO summer 2025 sets, not including the new Plo Koon head, which is worth highlighting individually.

Creatures

New creatures are abundant across the LEGO summer 2025 sets, from Fluffy and a Mandrake (in a new pot) to Mushu. The highlights of the new creatures are undoubtedly the pigeons and snail pieces, which will be useful for adding life to LEGO cities and other displays. Hopefully, at least the pigeon will land on Pick a Brick in the future.

Minifigure parts

There are plenty of fresh LEGO minifigure parts in the summer 2025 sets. Some of them are going to be specific to certain characters, but the new transparent and pink hair piece might come in handy for a refresh to NINJAGO's Pixal. The new crutches and bonnet element should come in handy for various minifigures as well. Mateo's hood and cape combo element should be handy in other colours, as well.

Slopes

The new LEGO Speed Champions 77239 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Super Car has a couple of new rounded slope pieces that are ideal for this specific vehicle, and will certainly be useful for more Speed Champions sets in the future. The theme is otherwise surprisingly light on new pieces in the summer.

Tracks

LEGO City 60470 Explorer Train has two new track elements, and while their exact functions have not been confirmed, one is confirmed to be able to activate certain features around the track. In the City set, it's used for collapsing rocks, but it should work just as well for road crossings and other features around a city.

Weapons

There are some new weapon elements in NINJAGO this summer. There's a reveal blade scattered across the sets, which can uncover secrets hidden within banners in the builds. What appears to be a fresh flick-fire missile also comes in 71840 Rogue vs. Drix Race Car Duel, complete with a rounded tip.

Miscellaneous elements

There are a few other pieces that don't fit into categories with many other elements, but are still worth showcasing on their own. These miscellaneous new pieces include Wario's nose and moustache, a pear, a digital effect for DREAMZzz, an angular broomstick bar and wide rubber tips.
