The LEGO Star Wars August 2025 remakes are shrinking

Most of the six LEGO Star Wars set remakes coming next month shrink previous builds in size, despite some higher piece counts in a few builds.

Many of the newly-revealed LEGO Star Wars August 2025 sets revisit familiar vehicles, with some notably high prices, and the community has reacted accordingly. The higher prices don't necessarily mean that the sets are all bigger than before, either.

CX52J on Reddit has been quick to point out with diagrams that the new 75413 Republic Juggernaut and 75435 Battle of Felucia Separatist MTT are both smaller than the last minifigure-scale models of these vehicles, but they're not the only ones in the August wave to shrink compared to previous sets.

Most other remakes in the August 2025 wave of LEGO Star Wars have also seen the sets downsized compared to every previous minifigure-scale version of the vehicles. This is except for 75414 The Force Burner Snowspeeder and 75433 Jango Fett's Starship, both compared to the last minifigure-scale Snowspeeder and Firespray 31 class Starship, respectively.

These builds are bigger in terms of piece count and either bigger or equal to them in terms of their overall measurements, but they're still two out of six remakes in the August wave that don't shrink previous sets. 75414 The Force Burner Snowspeeder may be much more fiery than any other snowspeeder, but change the paint job, and it's essentially a remake.

Ultimate Collector Series AT-ST

As mentioned in our in-depth comparison earlier this week, 75417 AT-ST Walker has more elements, but it's still smaller in all dimensions. The designer has since explained that this is partially due to a more accurate pose for the build.

The new 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter also has more elements than its original counterpart, but with a substantially smaller footprint, which is less accurate to the ship's on-screen appearance, too.
