Superman 2025 movie star shares plea for tie-in LEGO set

There's no sign of LEGO Superman 2025 movie sets ahead of the new film, but the star of the movie has made it clear that he wants some.

Despite hopes for LEGO sets based on 2025's Superman movie, nothing more than a character mech and magazine tins based on the comic iteration of Superman have been released this year, leaving the new film without even a single physical minifigure to its name.

That hasn't stopped the star of the new film from clearly asking the LEGO Group to make minifigures and sets based on the new film, though, in a new interview with GQ.

"I want to build LEGO with this Superman, I would like to have LEGO, please LEGO, make me a LEGO," shares David Corenswet in the interview.

The actor rounds out this portion of the interview with one more plea for him and Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor to be recreated as LEGO minifigures. While there are no physical LEGO products based specifically on the new movie, the good news for David is that LEGO Fortnite has a tie-in Superman minifigure, available digitally as part of the current Battle Pass.

Whether this design will eventually be adapted for a physical minifigure is unknown, but at least the LEGO Group now has the star's stamp of approval to use his likeness. It will be interesting for LEGO DC fans to follow the reaction and box office success of the new DC film when it releases later this week to see whether it will influence the future of the theme.
