Star Wars: The Bad Batch final season trailer revealed

Star Wars: The Bad Batch final season trailer revealed

The first trailer for the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been officially revealed, revealing some high-profile returning characters.

The story of Clone Force 99 is coming to an end as the third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will start streaming on Disney+ on February 21. Three episodes will be released on that date. You can watch the new trailer for yourself and be warned that we'll be discussing spoilers featured in the trailer in this report.

The surviving characters return from the second season but the team isn't exactly as whole as they were previously. Omega has been captured alongside Crosshair while Wrecker and Hunter work to find and free her.

No LEGO sets for the final season of The Bad Batch have been officially confirmed at the time of writing, but the show has received two full sets so far and featured in a pair of advent calendars via two mini models and a minifigure.

The trailer features the return of a Clone Turbo Tank, which last received a set in 2016, as well as familiar characters including Echo, Emperor Palpatine, Captain Rex, Fennec Shand, Cad Bane and even Asajj Ventress complete with a yellow lightsaber that those who know other Star Wars stories may recognise. It's been stated that her appearance will align with the events of that other story, as challenging as that task may be.

The final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch starts on Disney+ on February 21 and it's far from the only upcoming Star Wars project following the recent announcement of The Mandalorian and Grogu movie.
