Smyths Toys Superstores in the UK will be hosting a LEGO Space-themed make and take event later this month, with four exclusive minibuilds up for grabs.
Despite no major news coming out of this week’s Smyths Toys LEGO Live event, the UK retailer still has plenty of fun stuff up its sleeves for customers, including a journey off-world taking place later this month. 2024 is a major year for LEGO Space, with all kinds of themes getting in on the action, such as City, Friends, DREAMZzz, Technic and more.
Smyths Toys will be blasting off to join in all of the out-of-this-world celebrations with a special LEGO Space make and take event that’s scheduled for July 13. On that date, select stores will be offering visitors the opportunity to pop in and pick up one of four different intergalactic minibuilds for free.

Images of the exclusive LEGO Space-based sets reveal a planet with a ring around it, a rocket taking off, a tentacled alien and a simple red and white robot. Each of the minibuilds will be available from 9am on a strictly first come first serve basis on July 13, while stocks last.
It’s worth noting that the LEGO Space make and take event will only be happening at select Smyths Toys Superstores on the day, so it’s best to check online in advance to find out if your local store will be participating.
