Seven of our Top 20 LEGO sets are retiring in 2026 – and two sooner than you think

Seven of Brick Fanatics' Top 20 LEGO sets are retiring this year, including two that are hanging up their hats sooner than you might think.

Our Top 20 list picks out the best LEGO sets on shelves in our humble opinion, but not all of them are sticking around for that much longer. That includes five sets, all due to retire at the end of this year: LEGO One Piece 75639 The Going Merry Pirate Ship, LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon, LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower, LEGO Star Wars 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge, and LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum.

Although there's no real need to panic on those as you have until the end of the year, it's worth noting that many of those could easily sell out early. While you still have a few months to bide your time, you only need to chat to someone who missed out on 10307 Lion Knights' Castle by a few short weeks when it sold out at the end of November.

What should absolutely be on your priority list, however, are LEGO sets that retire in July 2026. There are more than you might expect, with the LEGO Group pulling forward some retirement dates for some sets. That includes no less than two sets from Brick Fanatics' Top 20: LEGO Harry Potter 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition and LEGO Icons 21350 Jaws.

76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition is easily the most detailed version of the magical bank we've ever had, split across two levels: the entrance hall and exterior above, and the vaults and rails below ground where the treasure is found. It's split across two time periods, documenting Harry's first and last on-page visits to Gringotts.

That means it also includes the dragon on which Harry and the gang make their explosive escape on, as well as various goblin minifigures to populate every inch of the towering set.

21350 Jaws has less of a domineering presence than the lofty Harry Potter set, but is no less of an eye-catching display piece. Built on its own black base complete with a quote from the film, it recreates the shark itself in exquisite detail – right down to those beady eyes. It faces down a brick-built boat, manned by Chief Martin Brody, Matt Hooper and Sam Quint.

It's ideal for slotting onto a shelf for cinema fans, but also offers a magnificent build experience for a reasonable price of £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 for a piece count just shy of 1,500.

With less than half a year to go before these sets officially retire, if they've been on your 'want to build' list, consider this your warning that they won't be around much longer. As both are LEGO exclusives, you likely won't see any major discounts beyond what's available on LEGO.com, so keep an eye on the official online store – but don't wait for too long.
