LEGO Star Wars' lengthy range of seasonal sets has grown substantially, and so have the seasonal Darth Vader minifigures alongside it.

While we wait for
2014: Santa Darth Vader

Darth Vader's first seasonal minifigure comes in 2014's Advent calendar, decking the Sith in a festive overcoat and presents on his belt, alongside a red cape. Darth Vader's embrace of Santa's usual attire might be out of character, but a LEGO Star Wars seasonal set allows for such creative interpretations of iconic characters.
This mindset would eventually lead to Darth Vader's biggest LEGO minifigure transformation to date, but not before two other minifigures at a similar level of creativity.
2020: Christmas Jumper Darth Vader

Six years later, the festive forms of Darth Vader continued, but this time with only one exclusive printed piece. The 2020 advent calendar includes Darth Vader wearing a Christmas jumper depicting the Death Star.
This festive Darth Vader minifigure reused his standard leg print, only debuting an exclusive torso design, unlike the 2014 seasonal Darth Vader minifigure. The next seasonal Darth Vader minifigure would follow this pattern, but dressed for an entirely different climate.
2022: Beach Darth Vader

The 2022 advent calendar, based on the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, saw Darth Vader outfitted for the beach rather than Christmas. Seasonal doesn't have to mean the festive season; it can also mean the summer, after all.
Beach Darth Vader once again displays the Death Star on a unique torso print, now on a tank top instead of a Christmas jumper. This would be the only departure from the Christmas Darth Vader minifigures so far, sticking to the most festive time of year in 2025.
2025: Gingerbread Darth Vader

40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker includes a single minifigure, continuing the gingerbread concept in another exclusive Christmas version of Darth Vader. This festive Darth Vader minifigure is the most exclusive yet, featuring a new torso, legs and his helmet in a unique colour to boot. You might not have expected the Sith to be a favourite for festive LEGO Star Wars minifigures, but they have become a regular occurence in the theme.
40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker will be available to buy from October 1, retailing for £54.99 in the UK, $59.99 in the US, and from €59.99 in Europe. You can take a closer look at the build by checking out our new YouTube video.
