San Diego Comic-Con will be a lot quieter this year

While previous years have featured reveals for Marvel, DC, the LEGO Group and more, 2023’s San Diego Comic-Con will be less busy than usual.

According to Variety, Disney, Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios are not planning any panels for San Diego Comic-Con this year, which likely means few or no reveals. However, the presence of DC has yet to be confirmed, so there’s still a chance for some big announcements

San Diego Comic-Con has seen the announcement of future DC films, upcoming phases in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and LEGO Avatar sets in previous years.

There may not be quite as much news from San Diego Comic-Con to enjoy this year, but there’s always the chance that the LEGO Group will attend the event with a booth, though exclusive sets have been missing in recent years.

San Diego Comic-Con is taking place from July 20 to 23, but the source states that schedules will start rolling out on July 5, so we may know more about who is attending then. For a LEGO booth, we’ll have to wait until whenever the event’s map is released online.
