Rumoured LEGO NINJAGO 2026 sets may cover familiar ground

A pair of rumoured LEGO NINJAGO builds reported to be arriving in 2026 may deliver fresh takes on two previously released models.

There’s been a deluge of LEGO rumours over the last 24 hours, with first details of multiple potential 2026 releases coming thick and fast. That includes some initial information on a pair of possible LEGO NINJAGO sets for this year that may well prove to be new takes on two existing vehicles.

71867 X-1 Ninja Charger is said to be a 691-piece offering from the theme, while 71869 Land Bounty could be a 1,214-piece build, with both LEGO NINJAGO sets reportedly arriving sometime in May 2026.

Longtime LEGO NINJAGO fans will be more than familiar with both creations though, as 70727 X-1 Ninja Charger dropped back in 2014, 70677 Land Bounty launched in 2019, and 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger arrived in 2021 as a Legacy remake of the original car.

Each of those LEGO NINJAGO sets included a decent selection of minifigures too, with 71737 X-1 Ninja Charger also boasting a limited-edition golden Legacy Cole with display stand to mark the theme’s then 10th anniversary.

Whether 71867 X-1 Ninja Charger and 71869 Land Bounty will be straight remakes of those previous models or all-new versions of the vehicles has yet to be revealed, but with the theme celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026, we’re hoping that the sets will manage to successfully build on what has come before.

As usual, do treat all such LEGO NINJAGO set rumours with a pinch of salt until their existence has been officially confirmed.
