Rumoured LEGO Minecraft set includes all the characters you'll need for a Nether Fortress

This rumoured LEGO Minecraft set could be the ticket to making the Nether Fortress display of your dreams.

Originally thought to be called 21266 Nether Portal Battle, reliable Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat now reports that the rumoured set will be called 21266 The Nether Lava Battle. They also offer a more detailed description, writing that the set will include a small bridge with ancient debris in front of it.

There's also info on the rumoured characters featured, including Alex (with a new angry face print), a Wither Skeleton, and a Blaze, expected to look like 2019's 21154 The Blaze Bridge. That minifigure has spinning limbs, mimicking the aggressive actions of the Blazes in-game.

The small piece count and price, paired with a wealth of characters, means this sounds something like a LEGO Minecraft battle pack. It's certainly a cost-effective way to beef up any LEGO Minecraft Nether displays. Nether Fortresses are usually packed full of Wither Skeletons and Blazes ready to defend the blaze rods and chests within, so being able to stock up on these characters for a relatively low price would be a great asset for the theme.
