Rumoured LEGO Classic 2025 sets contain a surprising addition

LEGO Classic covers a lot of ground with its topics and it might be racing into an inter-theme collection in 2025, if the latest rumours are true.

LEGO Classic will typically get overlooked by adult builders, unless you're looking to get a lot of pieces fast and easily. However, the last rumours, reported on Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat's Stories, might have something to tempt people who wouldn't normally shop in the theme.

There are four LEGO Classic sets rumoured for 2025, three of which are said to be coming in January and are typical of what we might expect: 150-piece 11039 Creative Edible Friends priced at $9.99, 450-piece 11041 Creative Dinosaurs priced at $34.99, and 680-piece 11042 Creative Fun Box priced at 680.

In March, there's also said to be 11040, priced at $19.99 for 340 pieces. There's no rumoured set name as yet but lego_minecraft_goat suggests that it could be related to Formula 1, perhaps part of the wider motorsport collection. That would align with the start of the Formula 1 season in March as well.

The set numbers suggest these sets are all part of the LEGO Classic theme, which are usually made up of various bricks of shapes and sizes, as well as accessory elements in line with the topic. For Formula 1, this could be car parts, track elements, or even minifigures accessories that would suit drivers.

Of course, that remains to be seen when we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. For now, take these rumours with the usual pinch of salt.
