These retiring LEGO minifigures will likely never be seen again

There are over 300 LEGO sets retiring at the end of 2024 and some feature minifigures that could easily never be seen again.

Some LEGO sets are coming to the end of their lifetimes, with hundreds of sets about to retire in a few months' time. It's a necessary process to make room for the wealth of new sets already released and on the way, but it does mean now is the time to prioritise any sets on your wishlist that will soon cease production for good.

That includes a number of sets that feature minifigures that we're unlikely to see elsewhere – or indeed ever again. If you're keen to get your hands on these minifigures without venturing into the world of secondhand markets, now is the time to grab these sets while you can.

6 – The entire cast in 21336 The Office

LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office is a 'one and done' set in so much that it ticks off virtually every major The Office character in one set. Seeing as it's a one-off LEGO Ideas model, it's very unlikely we'll see another set based on the hit sitcom again and certainly not for a very long while. That means if you want Michael, Jim, Pam, Dwight, and the rest, picking up 21336 The Office is an absolute must.

The minifigures are impressively accurate to the show, capturing details like Dwight's unchanging haircut, Stanley's love of pretzels, and Phyllis' vibrant fashion sense. The characters alone make this set a tempting purchase for any fans of The Office, so make the most of it still being in stock to snap it up now. It's on back order until October 30 in the UK, which could be a sign of falling stock – so move fast.

5 – Boolio in 75257 Millennium Falcon

There are only so many LEGO hunks of junk you can have on shelves at any one time and it's soon going to be time to say goodbye to 75257 Millennium Falcon. The mid-sized Falcon includes a modest cast of minifigures, featuring among its ranks Boolio. For those who don't remember, Boolio was the source of important information about a traitor within the midst of the First Order, data that he handed over to the Finn and the rest of the crew on board the Falcon.

He may only play a minor role but his minifigure is an interesting one to collect, complete with two sets of horns and leg printing. Seeing as he appears just briefly, we can likely expect that, once he's gone, he's gone.

4 – Kardue’Sai’Malloc in 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina

75290 Mos Eisley Cantina is easily the most detailed version of the Tatooine locale we've ever had in LEGO form, meaning it also offers the widest cast of characters found in the bar. That includes Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, Garindan, Kardue’Sai’Malloc, and three members of the Cantina band. The most interesting and versatile of the group is Kardue’Sai’Malloc, coming with the unique horns head element but we'll likely never see any of those background characters again.

3 – Epilogue Harry in 76405 Hogwarts Express – Collectors' Edition

We only get the briefest of glimpses of epilogue Harry in the final shots of the eighth Harry Potter movie and that version of the boy wizard has only appeared in minifigure form in 76405 Hogwarts Express – Collectors' Edition. Complete with stubble and all, adult Harry is the final stage of the iconic story of Harry Potter and, thanks to only appearing in the epilogue, probably won't appear in many other LEGO Harry Potter sets.

2 – Baylan Skoll in 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter

Baylan Skoll's future in Star Wars is up in the air due to the tragic death of his live-action actor, the late Ray Stevenson. This could mean that Baylan will be phased out of future Star Wars stories to avoid the uncomfortable process of recasting, meaning there might not be much more fodder to include him in LEGO Star Wars sets moving forward. That means when 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter retires, it takes with it the chance to own a minifigure of Baylon Skoll, Ray's last role before he died.

1 – BTS in 21339 BTS Dynamite

Currently reduced by 30% at LEGO.com, 21339 BTS Dynamite offers the chance to get the entire cast of K-pop band BTS in one fell swoop. Similar to 21336 The Office, this LEGO Ideas set offers a one-stop chance to get the full band, something that likely won't return again. Each band member is accurately depicted, from the quirky haircuts to the tips of their dancing feet, so it's well worth a look if you're a fan of the iconic band.
