Retiring LEGO buildings mean big changes for city builders

It might be early in 2025 but we've already got eyes on the end of the year – and which LEGO sets will be disappearing for good.

The LEGO Group has made a few changes to what's heading to retirement at the end of 2025, and Matthew has got all the latest in our newest YouTube video. It'll be particularly essential watching for city builders, with quite a few unique brick-built buildings preparing for their retirement at the end of this year.

Any LEGO city needs the right balance of diversity to be the most interesting. From more classic collectible LEGO buildings like 10297 Boutique Hotel to some more unusual but no less compelling structures like 21341 Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage, there's a lot that LEGO builders who fancy themselves as small-scale urban planners won't want to miss out on. After all, once they're retired, they're much harder – and more expensive – to find.

Join Matthew over on our YouTube channel for all the latest retiring updates – and a special look at what this means for city builders.

As always, check out our full page of retiring sets for 2025 and beyond to make sure you never miss out on a LEGO set.
