A full look at every character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has confirmed that Rebel Friend has made the cut in the new game.
Previews for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga have confirmed that 380 playable characters will feature in the game, including one that is a reference to a minifigure friend from a 15-year-old LEGO Star Wars game.
In LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, and again in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, one of the playable characters depicted a particularly friendly rebel trooper aptly named Rebel Friend.
The character became popular enough to get a Wookieepedia page and has become something of an internet icon thanks to his appealing appearance and heroic, but friendly nature.

With the upcoming release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, whether or not they would be included remained unknown, but has now been confirmed thanks to a hands-on preview from Lunar Squadron.
