The fan vote for the LEGO Ideas 15th anniversary contest has now started, with over 300 submissions making it through to the next stage.
LEGO Ideas is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, with the theme originally being called CUUSOO and having launched back in 2008. To mark the occasion, fans have been challenged with creating a build that represents what LEGO Ideas means to them and incorporating the number ’15’ somewhere on their creation.
The first stage of the contest has now officially closed, with LEGO Ideas having announced that a whopping 307 submissions have successfully made it through to the fan vote. Members can take a look through the various designs featured on the LEGO Ideas website, select the one that they think fulfils the criteria of the competition and then cast their vote accordingly.
There’s a diverse selection of original models to choose from for sure, which will make picking just one even trickier. Stand-outs include the frankly bonkers Global Creativity: Unleashing the Imagination Across Borders, the minifigure mind-blowing 15 Years of Ideas, the number-based Make It Whole and many, many more.
The LEGO Ideas 15th anniversary contest fan vote will remain open until December 13, when the top 30 models will then be evaluated by the judging team. The winning entries will be announced by December 15, when we’ll all find out which design will be awarded the grand prize package and runner-up prizes below:
