Changes are on the way to LEGO Pick a Brick which should mean ordering individual bricks and LEGO elements will be easier and faster.
The LEGO Pick a Brick team was present at the Fan Weekend in Denmark's Skaerbaek, near the home of LEGO in Billund. As part of their presentation, the team laid out some planned changes for the future, as reported by Stonewars.
To start off with, the LEGO Group is opening a new warehouse in Poland that should help improve delivery times for Pick a Brick orders. At the moment, standard Pick a Brick orders can take up to a month to arrive as they were all sent from Billund. Now, the new parts warehouse means that all elements will eventually be listed as bestseller parts and will arrive within seven working days for those in Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.
As a knock-on effect, that also means every order should also eventually qualify for GWPs. As it stands now, only bestseller parts contribute towards minimum spends for gifts-with-purchase but that is expected to change.
Last but not least, Pick a Brick will also make buying individual parts easier, with an upload and download feature for parts lists now announced. The beta of the new function was already tested on-site in Skaerbaek, supporting up to 400 parts. Thanks to the download, you could then save your shopping cart offline or upload a parts list created outside of Pick a Brick to speed up the shopping process – and avoid any disappearing carts if you're working on an order over a longer period of time.

This comes after LEGO Pick a Brick recently launched a new look for the website, with photorealistic renderings. Clearly, the team is putting in a lot of work behind the scenes to improve the service and these faster, easier orders should be available to users soon.
