One week left for LEGO Ideas space postcard challenge

One week left for LEGO Ideas space postcard challenge

There's just over a week left to get your entry together for the LEGO Ideas space postcard challenge and win a massive prize package.

One of two LEGO Ideas challenges currently open is closing its idea intake a week from today as there's not much longer left to put together a space-centric postcard, similar to 21340 Tales of the Space Age, but make sure not to copy the builds in the LEGO Ideas set.

The grand prize for this challenge includes a signed 21340 Tales of the Space Age by the designers, 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander, 10497 Galaxy Explorer and 60350 Lunar Research Base. Two runners-up will be going home with a signed 21340 Tales of the Space Age by the designers, 10497 Galaxy Explorer and 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander

At the time of writing, there are 200 entries in this contest covering everything from the big bang to a serene picnic overlooking the rings of Saturn, using everything from perspective to transparent bricks and more to impress the judges.

Once the idea intake closes on August 29, an expert review will take place until September 12 with the winner announcement on September 19. You can read more about the challenge on its dedicated webpage.

For some inspiration, 21340 Tales of the Space Age is available now for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99.
