Yesterday's handover of the LEGO Formula 1 trophies at Silverstone will go down in history, and Nico Hülkenberg has a plan for his trophy.
The latest effort in the LEGO Group's multi-year partnership with Formula 1 was unveiled yesterday at the British Grand Prix, revealing a collection of LEGO trophies to be given to the drivers placing on the podium, as well as a constructor trophy.
Nico Hülkenberg of the Kick Sauber team took home the white and blue trophy (labelled with the number three at its base) over the weekend, and he has a plan in place as part of his positive outlook on the podium placement.

His reaction to the win and LEGO trophy is reasonable, despite an attempted roast by Oscar Piastri of the McLaren team following the British Grand Prix during an interview. ESPN has shared the moment on YouTube for us all to see.
"I love LEGO," responded Nico to Oscar's query about how he felt about getting on the podium after 15 years, only to win a LEGO trophy. "It's good, my daughter can play with it too. You've always got to see the bright side, but a bit of silver or gold would have been nice too. I won't complain."
