A brand new LEGO NINJAGO comic series is coming from Skybound Entertainment, tying into the second season of Dragons Rising with new lore.
Following the Garmadon comic series, Skybound Entertainment is expanding the world of NINJAGO once again with another LEGO NINJAGO comic. Announced earlier this week, LEGO NINJAGO Shatterspin features a young Garmadon searching for the legend behind The Forbidden Five and a new power that could change the tide of the Serpentine War. That last detail places this story long into NINJAGO's past.

A revelation discovered earlier today connecting this location to Legends of Chima could mean that the power Garmadon is searching for Chi, though it's more likely to be the Gong of Shattering that is featured in a few of the new NINJAGO sets and located right behind him on the cover.
“I’m super excited to go on another journey with my favourite LEGO NINJAGO character, Garmadon,” said series writer and artist Tri Vuong.
“We have a lot of exciting plans in store for him and I’m looking forward to exploring some interesting new facets to his story. I can’t wait to show the fans what we’ve been working on!”
LEGO NINJAGO Shatterspin will consist of five issues and the first is coming on May 22, 2024, for $3.99. It has also been confirmed that the first issue will have three variant covers similar to the Garmadon series.
