New LEGO in-store GWP Happy Store Anniversary spotted

LEGO Store Düsseldorf celebrated its fifth anniversary with various in-store promotions, including an exclusive gift-with-purchase.

The LEGO store in Germany's Düsseldorf celebrated its fifth anniversary at the weekend between August 23 and 24, offering visitors various GWPs for buying certain sets or spending certain amounts. That included 6446166 Happy Anniversary Brick, a 73-piece set that was available with purchases of €85 or more.

PromoBricks shared pictures sent in by a reader, Silvia, although it's worth noting that the promotion period is reportedly now over. The GWP is designed to look like an oversized red 2x3 brick, along with a printed tile at the base that reads 'Happy Anniversary'.

In practice, it looks very similar to 2019's 6313291 Buildable 2x4 Red Brick, which was made up of 72 pieces and was available to LEGO Insiders (then VIPS) with purchases over £200 / $200 / €200. Indeed, the only major difference appears to be the addition of the printed anniversary tile – which explains the extra piece in 6446166 Happy Anniversary Brick.

In 2020, we also got 6346102 Buildable 2x4 Teal Brick, a very similar build in a different colour, except with a different style of stand for the base.
