New LEGO Shops of the World GWP officially revealed

The final LEGO Shops of the World gift with purchase has now been officially revealed, suggesting it could be available very soon.

Hot on the heels of appearing on the official building instructions page, 40696 Bakery has now been officially revealed on LEGO.com. The fourth and final in the series of microscale Shops of the World series, the brick-built bakery is made up of 376 pieces and built to the same scale as 40680 Flower Store, 40684 Fruit Store and 40692 Candy Store.

According to the description, 40696 Bakery is decorated for the festive season but it's pretty subtle decoration, with red and green awnings and a minute wreath at the top of the building. That helps your little shop work on shelves all year round, being otherwise timeless.

Despite its compact size, there are plenty of details included, from the croissant acting like a shop sign to stacks of LEGO treats inside. There's no word on when 40696 Bakery will be available or for what minimum spend, although the previous Shops of the World GWPs were available on purchases over £180 / $200 / €200. We can likely expect 40696 Bakery to become available before the end of 2024, so stay tuned to Brick Fanatics for all the details as we get them.
