New LEGO Mini Disney model revealed with character

The next LEGO Mini Disney set has been revealed with a first look at the image confirming that the collection is heading back to its roots, sort of.

The LEGO Group's certification page has been updated with several 2024 LEGO sets, including a new Mini Disney model. 40708 Mini Disney Ariel's Castle is a recreation of King Triton's castle as seen in the animated Disney movie.

However, while 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah included no minifigures unlike the first two LEGO Mini Disney models, 40708 Mini Disney Ariel's Castle is returning to the trend of included characters with an Ariel mini-doll.

Ariel's animated form has a minifigure thanks to a LEGO Collectible Minifigures series. However, 40708 Mini Disney Ariel's Castle opts for a mini-doll instead as the first entry into the range to do so.

However, this at least suggests that included characters aren't out of the question with the LEGO Mini Disney series, even though Ariel doesn't appear to be exclusive.

40708 Mini Disney Ariel's Castle has yet to be revealed fully on LEGO.com with an online listing to detail its price and release dates. For context, 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah costs £39.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 with 506 pieces.
