A new set has been spotted on LEGO.com, recreating a classic LEGO Castle Black Falcons model with new printed nanofigures.
5008074 LBR Grey Castle has appeared in documents on the LEGO Group’s official certification page. The grey walls, red arch and green flags identify it as a miniature remake of 6073 Knight's Castle from 1984.
Though the image on the documents isn’t the best quality, the size of the set is small enough to reveal four nanofigures that appear to have new printed designs. There look to be two in dark blue and two in green or white.
The original 6073 Knight's Castle includes six minifigures and the Black Falcons would be a good fit for the dark blue nanofigures. Whether their prints are new is unclear, but they have some kind of design and no existing prints would work fully with a castle.
Exactly where this model will be available and when has not been revealed but its numbering suggests that it could be a LEGO Insiders reward, a gift-with-purchase or a promotional model given away in LEGO stores. It likely won’t be available for purchase individually.
The LEGO VIP Weekend, which could be renamed the LEGO Insiders Weekend this year, is a potential contender for its launch given the nostalgic nature of the set. Alternatively, it could be a promotion tying in with the release of the rumoured LEGO Moments line.
