Collecting the new LEGO Batman BrickHeadz is more expensive than expected

LEGO BrickHeadz 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure is out now and it turns out that finishing the collection is going to be more expensive than expected.

Our initial report hoping that you may only need one copy of 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure and some extra standard pieces to build all eight Batman BrickHeadz came with a small caveat. That was that the printed pieces would be on individual elements and not double-sided prints.

As Nickstraightupbricks has discovered now that the set is available, it turns out some of the prints are double-sided, meaning that finishing the collection while having all eight Batman BrickHeadz built is going to be more expensive than first thought.

You still won't need eight copies of 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure to collect all eight caricatures. You'll need at most two copies of the set to account for the double-sided prints and extra standard elements to finish off the BrickHeadz.

Instagram user itavix_bricks has chimed in following this development with a guide to the extra parts necessary to build all eight Batman builds along with two copies of the set. As expected, they're all available on Pick a Brick aside from the four Batarang pieces.

With two copies of 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure, ordering the parts on Pick a Brick should come to £86.42 or the equivalent in your region. That's a bit more than the usual £9.99 per BrickHeadz figure that the theme enthusiasts have come to expect, but not by too much.

Keep in mind that instructions for all but the Bronze Age Batman figure are exclusive to the LEGO Builder app too – they are not provided in the box.
