LEGO 10338 Bumblebee is joining the LEGO Transformers line-up later this year but there's at least one more model we need for the franchise.
10338 Bumblebee has been officially revealed, launching on July 1 for LEGO Insiders or July 4 widely for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99. It's joining

While Bumblebee is an obvious addition to the LEGO Transformers line-up, there's one thing the partnership is missing two years after it started – a LEGO Decepticon. Whether it be Soundwave, Starscream, Megatron or any other Decepticon, it would be good to pair
Instead, the LEGO Group is keeping the focus on the Autobots with the release of 10338 Bumblebee next month but hopefully, the partnership can continue to even the playing field between LEGO Autobots and brick-built Decepticons eventually as it's entirely one-sided right now.
Megatron may be a challenge to recreate, not from a design perspective but so as not to clash with the LEGO Group's policies and values. The vehicle form of Megatron from the first generation of Transformers, which the LEGO Transformers sets so far are inspired by, is a realistic tank. That might clash with the LEGO Group's stance on realistic warfare in sets.
This could be resolved by making his vehicle much more futuristic and less comparable to a real tank or instead taking inspiration from another depiction of Megatron with his other vehicle forms including a jet, truck and helicopter. This could similarly clash with the other LEGO Transformers sets though.
Another option could be to avoid Megatron entirely and instead recreate another Decepticon in the future. Starscream or Soundwave stand out to us with their vehicle forms being a jet similar to 31039 Blue Power Jet and a cassette deck respectively. The latter might pair well, or clash with
Whatever the future of LEGO Transformers may be, the focus is entirely on the Autobots for now with
