Master Replicas Star Trek line-up may hint at potential LEGO possibilities

With a rumoured LEGO Star Trek set said to be arriving in 2025, new products from Master Replicas could hint at the potential for more brick-based releases.

Recent rumours suggest that we might be getting the first-ever LEGO Star Trek set later this year, although that remains pure speculation for now. While we’ve already offered up our own suggestions for models that could fill out a dedicated theme based on the property, another licensee has revealed their initial line-up of upcoming products based on the long-running sci-fi series.

Master Replicas recently announced a new partnership with Paramount Consumer Products to develop a range of Star Trek toys and collectibles. That would include action figures, playsets and prop recreations, but no mention at all regarding possible construction toys.

The Master Replicas deal covers the rights to Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Section 31, Star Trek: Prodigy and the forthcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, although any classic Star Trek series are conspicuously absent.

While only one LEGO Star Trek set is currently rumoured to be arriving in 2025, the success of such a launch could potentially dictate whether fans get to see more models based on the franchise. LEGO Icons 10356 UUS Enterprise D may not have been officially confirmed so far, but if enough fans pick up such a set, more might possibly follow.

Taking a leaf out of Master Replicas book could mean options for multiple Star Trek shows to be recreated in brick form, covering all kinds of starships, characters and scenes, not to mention 1:1 scale versions of phasers, communicators, tricorders and more Starfleet equipment.

For now though, fans will have to bide their time until any such LEGO Star Trek sets become a reality, but there’s certainly a whole galaxy’s worth of possibilities out there to consider.
