The BrickLink team have shared an update on the site's shutdown amid an alleged hack and when the LEGO platform will re-open.
Days ago, BrickLink suddenly shut down with a maintenance message amid reports of a hack. Users were quick to share various experiences and some recommended advice, none of which has been confirmed – though the advice may be worth following.
However, a recent update from the team confirmed that a small percentage of accounts were accessed by unauthorised individuals. Now, they have taken to Instagram to confirm that the site will be re-opening soon and that they are getting ready for the re-opening.
No timeframe has been specified but those eager to continue buying and selling parts, browsing the BrickLink Designer Program and more can look forward to the re-opening soon. The maintenance page has not been updated at the time of writing, but this appears to be good news as they confirm that BrickLink will come back online.
