LEGOLAND Windsor is opening its gates to dogs for the very first time this Christmas on selected pup-friendly days.
On selected dates over the festive period, dogs will be able to join in on a day out to LEGOLAND Windsor for the first time. Those days are November 30 and December 7, 14, 21, and 28.
The days have been dubbed 'Paws in the Park' by the LEGO resort, coming alongside various other festive events, including live entertainment, a strolling brass band with a live-sized Nutcracker character, and seasonal LEGO builds scattered throughout the park. Santa slots are also available every Sunday apart from Sunday, December 28.
“Christmas is about everyone being together and making awesome memories, so that’s why this festive season we’re welcoming furry canine friends into the park," said Ramesh Ganeson, Vice President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. "Paws in the Park is a first for us at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort and this festive season, we want to create joy, magic, and play. This is a truly paw-fect way to celebrate the Christmas season with the entire family.”
On arrival, guests with dogs in tow should enter via the admissions gates and go to Guest Services before exploring the rest of the park, as they'll need to complete a Dog Owner Information form. They must book a £10 Pet Pass in advance, alongside tickets for the human members of the party. Tickets for LEGOLAND Windsor start from £34 per person, with kids under 90cm tall going free.
“In the past, we’ve had to arrange someone to stay behind and dog-sit, which can limit our days out," Gemma Todd, dog owner and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort guest, said in a press release shared by LEGOLAND Windsor. "Paws in the Park is a great initiative for all the family as it means our beloved pooch can now join in on the festive fun.”
