LEGO The Incredibles gets officially announced for the UK

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the release of a new video game, LEGO The Incredibles. Disney Pixar has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group on a new LEGO video game that will cover both The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. Players will be able to take control of the Parr family and enjoy some action packed super hero adventures. The game will be released on July 13, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC. Players will need to use the Parr family’s abilities together in order to overcome obstacles and play through the game, conquering traditional levels that follow the stories of The Incredibles and Incredibles 2, and also tackling new Crime Waves in an open hub world. Key abilities will include Mr Incredibles’s strength and Eastigirl’s flexiblity.

A sizable hub world is also promised, featuring the new Crime Waves that see players seeking out certain objectives and doing battle with villainous bosses. To complete these missions, gamers will take out villains from each district. Throughout the game, players will find Pixar themes easter eggs referencing other beloved films.

“LEGO Disney•Pixar's The Incredibles brings together all the unforgettable characters, action and humour of the Incredibles films in an imaginative LEGO world of non-stop adventure,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games Publishing. “Players will undertake an epic journey across action-packed levels from both movies as they guide the superpowered Parrs in their quest to fight crime, while surviving family life.”

“New threats, new villains and new family drama await players in LEGO Disney•Pixar's The Incredibles,” said Lisa Anderson, VP, Games, Disney. “Fans will explore their favourite locations from the first film, as they battle Syndrome on Nomansian Island and discover new exotic destinations such as the mysterious New Urbem.”

LEGO The Incredibles is due for release in the UK on July 13, 2018.
