LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles BrickHeadz revealed

LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is back in the product portfolio with a quartet of BrickHeadz launching later this year, including unusual colours.

The official online LEGO store has revealed a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set for the first time in over a decade. While it's not quite a full return to the theme that we had between 2012 and 2014, these four new BrickHeadz are a welcome sight for fans.

40878 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures will be released on April 1, 2026, for £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99. The 567-piece model depicts the four turtles: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello. They come with appropriate accessories, including their signature weapons and, of course, a pizza.

You might be thrown off by the colour choices, with Donatello being depicted in a lighter shade of green and Michelangelo being teal. This is how they appear in more recent iterations, such as Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other animated series.

This is despite the BrickHeadz using classic outfits for the characters with the first letter of their name on their belts, where they were all the same shade of green. The 'World of TMNT' branding on the box suggests that these depictions of the characters are intended to be a blend of their past and more recent versions. Either way, they're still recognisable.

Unlike other recently-revealed LEGO BrickHeadz sets, 40878 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures won't be hitting shelves until April 2026. Here's a reminder of how the BrickHeadz slate for 2026 is looking so far.
