A new LEGO Technic 2-in-1 bundle has been revealed, with 66784 NEOM McLaren Racing Gift Set now available for purchase.
Racing fans have plenty to look forward to in the months ahead, with a variety of vehicle-based builds rumoured to be arriving in 2025 and a thrilling Formula 1 partnership that will be rolling out across multiple themes.
Ahead of those upcoming arrivals, the Canadian CostCo website had added a new LEGO Technic 2-in-1 pack that’s currently listed for $89.99 (roughly £49.99). 66784 NEOM McLaren Racing Gift Set contains a pair of existing models combined into one handy package, with the intention being to save builders some cash.
Inside the box are 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car and 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car, which would usually retail for $99.98 CAD if bought together. That might only be slightly less than the price of buying the separate models, but it’s still a bundle some E-Racing fans may want to pick up.
42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car is priced at £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 and delivers a 252-piece build that features pull-back action, off-road tyres, plus realistic colours and partner logos. As a companion model, 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car offers up a 452-piece set that also includes pull-back function, working steering and authentic details, all for £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99.
There’s no word yet on whether or not 66784 NEOM McLaren Racing Gift Set is a retailer or regional exclusive, so it’s possible the bundle could appear in other locations at some point.
