We've got our first look at LEGO Technic 5008946 McLaren P1 Logo, the free GWP that comes with the newly-revealed 42172 McLaren P1 from August 1.
The 178-piece set depicts the McLaren P1 logo, as the name would suggest, built on a black base made from largely Technic elements. The main logo is largely silver, with orange rings underneath to reflect McLaren's signature papaya, along with a small plaque with the car brand's logo. It also features a hand-crank-powered black box that rotates the logo when turned.
The GWP is not yet available but will instead launch alongside 42172 McLaren P1 on August 1, as an exclusive GWP for the upcoming LEGO Technic set. It will be available until August 7 or until stocks run out, which could be possible. If you don't want to miss out on the one-off promotional set, this is as good a reason as any to make 42172 McLaren P1 a day-one purchase.
