Free LEGO Store Father’s Day make and take event this weekend

LEGO Stores in the UK will be giving away a free make and take photo frame build this weekend to celebrate Father’s Day.

It’s nearly that time of the year again, when grateful children celebrate the all-important annual event known as Father’s Day. The joyous occasion will be taking place on June 16, 2024, giving kids plenty of time to pick up an expensive LEGO set for their brick-loving dad or even a freebie model to surprise one half of their parenting duo.

The good news is that LEGO Stores in the UK are also marking the event, with a free photo frame model available this weekend. Visitors to their local retail locations will be able to pick up the mini set from 12pm to 2pm on June 9, with a limited quantity of the build available on the day, on a first come first serve basis, while stocks last.

LEGO Mothers Day Photo Frame 1024x576

The simple white photo frame appears to be the exact same model that was recently given away in LEGO Stores this year to celebrate Mother’s Day. The set features space for a photograph to be placed inside and a small piece at the top of the build allows the frame to be hung on a wall.

If you’re feeling more generous and have a little cash to burn, you could always pick up a new LEGO set too, with more than 90 new models having been released on June 1, 2024. Those range from pocket money priced builds such as 75391 Captain Rex Y-wing Microfighter for £11.99 / $12.99 / €12.99, right up to the towering 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr for £399.99 / $459.99 / €459.99.
