The potential for a Jaxxon minifigure may have hopped one step closer to reality, with a LEGO Star Wars voice actor chiming in his support for the character.
Disney+ will be returning to a brick-built galaxy far, far away on September 19 with LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past. The four-part series sees a number of familiar animated faces back for more reimagined adventures, alongside a cast of all-new supporting characters and the villainous Master Solitus.
Only one LEGO Star Wars set spinning out of the upcoming show has been announced to date, with 75414 The Force Burner Snowspeeder launching on August 1. While the model includes minifigures of Sig Greebling, Darth Dev and Solitus, there’s no sign of Lepi smuggler, Jaxxon, but the actor behind the voice of the animated character hopes that may change.

“I was made aware of Jaxxon by Bobby Moynihan,” Sonic the Hedgehog’s Ben Schwartz told the official Star Wars website, referring to the voice actor behind Jedi Bob. “When he pitched me the lore and told me that Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit were behind the show, I had to jump in.”
The lore Schwartz is referring to relates to Jaxxon T. Tumperakki being one of the most bizarre and divisive Star Wars characters ever created. He first popped up in Marvel’s licensed comic book series way back in 1977, as a green bipedal humanoid rabbit who joined a group of mercenaries assembled by Han Solo and you can find out more about that right here.

Legend has it that George Lucas despised Jaxxon so much that he forbade him from making any future appearances in any form, although the character did reemerge years later in a number of other Star Wars media.
However, the Lepi smuggler will finally be making his animated debut in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, to delight or annoy fans as much as possible. In fact, Schwartz himself states that, “you will see him being the most Jaxxon he has ever been outside of a comic book.”

Schwartz is also getting behind a push to promote the possibility of the character arriving in LEGO form at some point in the future, “hoping that one day it’ll become a minifig I can buy.”
It’s not yet known if any additional LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past sets will be released at some point or if a Jaxxon minifigure will eventually become a reality. For now though, you’ll be able to look forward to seeing more of the Lepi smuggler when he debuts in the four-part animated Disney+ series on September 19, 2025.
