LEGO Star Wars 75382 TIE Interceptor designer signing announced for May

The LEGO Group has announced a designer signing event for the latest LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series model, 75382 TIE Interceptor.

Released exclusively to LEGO Insiders on May 1 (before a wider release on May 4), 75382 TIE Interceptor is the work of designers Henrik Andersen and Lucy Bilgin. Henrik has come full circle with this set, having also designed the original UCS TIE Interceptor all the way back in 2000, while Lucy is a relatively new member of the LEGO design team (having joined the company at the end of 2022).

You’ll be able to meet them both at the Leicester Square LEGO Store on May 1, where they’ll be signing copies of 75382 TIE Interceptor from 10am to 12pm UK time. There’s a maximum of two sets per person, and each copy of the 1,931-piece model will set you back £199.99. (That’s £10 cheaper than last year’s 75355 X-wing Starfighter.)

Buying 75382 TIE Interceptor on day one will also bag you all three of this year’s May the 4th promos, including 30680 AAT, 5008818 Battle of Yavin and 40686 Trade Federation Troop Carrier. In fact, it’s probably the easiest way to secure the entire trio in one fell swoop while snapping up something new – and getting it signed at the same time is the cherry on the cake.

You can find out more about the LEGO May the 4th 2024 deals and promos by checking out our dedicated hub, which will be updated regularly throughout this year’s headline LEGO Star Wars shopping event.
