LEGO Star Wars The Force of Creativity book won't qualify for May the 4th GWPs

The start of May won't be the best time to get the brand new coffee table LEGO Star Wars book, The Force of Creativity, but don't wait too long.

While you may be hoping to pick up 5008878 The Force of Creativity when pre-orders open on May 1 ahead of a July 20 release, there's one important fact to remember. It has now been officially confirmed that the new book specifically won't count towards any of the May the 4th gifts-with-purchase.

Whether you are a LEGO Insider or not, plan your purchases around this knowledge as you'll still need to spend £145 / $160 / €160 on LEGO Star Wars sets from May 1 to 5, or while stocks last, to pick up all three gifts.

At £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99, the book would have gone a long way towards securing you all of the promotional items, but that won't be the case. Still, that doesn't mean you should necessarily wait too long to pre-order the item as it may sell out shortly after pre-orders start.
