The upcoming LEGO Star Wars 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV has learned at least one lesson from 75324 Dark Trooper Attack.
As was rumoured, the newly-revealed LEGO Star Wars 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV features a connection point to combine multiple copies of the set, but where you can connect it to remains a mystery. The main image of the set features a Technic beam brick on the end of the hallway, but the back of the box has a pair of Technic pins within it, suggesting that something is meant to attach here.

Looking at all of the images of 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV, all but one angle of the set has been revealed and there doesn't seem to be anywhere that the model can have another copy of itself attached for an extra-long hallway.
The one angle that we don't see of 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV is the back of the set and there coincidentally happens to be an open door on the back wall. It may be that the Technic pins can attach to another beam on the back of the build, expanding the hallway in a different direction than you might have expected – through the door.
A lifestyle image showcasing the model being built doesn't offer a closer look at that part of the internal foundation, so this is only speculation for now. Alternatively, there could be more hallway models in the works for LEGO Star Wars that this set could connect to in the future, though the lack of a connection point on the left of this model makes that seem unlikely. That's unless it's intended to be placed definitively on one side of a collection.
For now, some mysteries remain for 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV but one thing is certain – it can connect to something and has therefore improved on one aspect of 75324 Dark Trooper Attack. You can take a closer look at the set (and that Fives minifigure) by clicking here.
