LEGO Star Wars welcomes Saw Gerrera to its anniversary minifigure line-up

Resistance fighter Saw Gerrera has officially been added to this year’s line-up of special edition LEGO Star Wars minifigures.

Thanks to the recent official reveal of 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator, we now know the identities of the first three of six special edition LEGO Star Wars minifigures being released to celebrate the theme’s 25th anniversary in 2024.

75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator will be launching on May 1, priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99, with the 640-piece set including a total of four minifigures. While Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul and Anakin Skywalker are a welcome nod to the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, the appearance of the exclusive Saw Gerrera minifigure is the next part of a puzzle fans will be piecing together this year.

A dedicated landing page for the theme's 25th anniversary was launched on LEGO.com earlier in 2024, with reveals of Darth Malak and ARC Trooper Fives added alongside silhouettes of three more mysterious minifigures. With the upcoming arrival of 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator next month, that line-up has now been boosted by the addition of Saw Gerrera himself.

The information for the character states that he’s a resistance leader, fighter of injustice and wearer of 'a LOT of amour.' The minifigure fact file also has Tactical, Smart and Stoic ratings for Saw Gerrera, as well as the iconic quote, ‘Save the Rebellion! Save the dream,’ from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

It’s worth noting that the image of Saw Gerrera on the box art for 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator is slightly different from the lifestyle images for the set, with more accurate colours and additional detailing on his cape.

There’s no official word yet on who the remaining two exclusive 25th anniversary minifigures on the landing page will be (or why a sixth isn’t shown), but previous rumours have suggested a few characters who might be arriving in 2024. It’s worth noting that’s pure speculation for now though and has yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group.
