LEGO Star Wars Republic Gunship meets Ice Planet in new model

A fan-made model has mixed the worlds of LEGO Ice Planet with a design taken straight from Star Wars with a remixed Republic Gunship.

The LEGO Group released the UCS 75309 Republic Gunship LEGO Star Wars set in 2021, but it appears that at least one fan is ready for more brick-built Republic Gunships already.

Reddit user ZeRadman has mixed the worlds of Star Wars and the nostalgic theme Ice Planet 2002. For those who are unfamiliar, the older product range is known for its white, blue and transparent orange colour scheme, not to mention the transparent orange chainsaws.

Applying that colour scheme to the unique shape of the Republic Gunship, the Star Wars vehicle fits well within the world of LEGO Ice Planet 2002, using that transparent orange on the weaponry, cockpit windows and more.

While LEGO Ice Planet was retired long ago, Star Wars is still ongoing to this day and you can find 75309 Republic Gunship on the official online store now, should you need a base build to apply an Ice Planet colour scheme to, or maybe one from another space-focused theme.
