A special LEGO Star Wars May the 4th live stream will be taking place on May 1 and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event.
This year’s May the 4th celebrations officially kick off in just a few short days, with multiple GWPs, offers, rewards and more dropping from May 1, 2024. In addition, a special LEGO Star Wars live stream will also be taking place later on that date, which should feature a few surprises for those watching.
The live steam will be kicking off at 7:30pm GMT in the UK, 8pm / 5pm PT in the US and 6:30pm CET in Germany. The online broadcasts won’t be taking place simultaneously, suggesting that separate live streams may happening in those regions, with a giveaway planned for each.
Ahead of the live streams, a dedicated landing page for the May the 4th event has now appeared on LEGO.com, complete with a few more specific details on what fans can expect. The LEGO Group has already promised special offers, set reveals, exciting giveaways and a designer presentation. The landing page now refers to the latter as being a 'designer Q&A', although it hasn't yet been revealed if any such questions and responses will have been pre-recorded in advance.
There’s also a short video on the page stating that fans will be able to watch a ‘Behind the scenes look into 25 years of LEGO Star Wars’ and there’s even the option to set a reminder for the event on your device's calendar, so you won’t miss out on it.
Those watching in the UK and the US will have the chance to win 75382 TIE Interceptor signed by the LEGO Star Wars set’s designer, while viewers in Germany could win one of 15 €100 LEGO gift cards. The signed 75382 TIE Interceptor will reportedly be given away in all three regions, but how fans can enter the giveaways has yet to be confirmed.
