LEGO Star Wars magazine offers up triple Clone Wars freebies

The latest issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is available in the UK, complete with a trio of Clone Wars-era free gifts from at least one retailer.

LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 132 has just landed on UK newsstands, bringing with it a couple of retailer exclusive versions that might well be of interest to army builders. The standard edition of Immediate Media’s official title comes with a free Phase I Clone Pilot, the exact same minifigure usually only found in 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter.

The first iteration of the character since the original 2008 minifigure, the Phase I Clone Pilot boasts a brand new, dedicated helmet mould complete with unique printing and blaster pistol, all for the publication's usual price of £5.50.

In addition, UK retailer ASDA is offering up two different exclusive versions of the latest LEGO Star Wars magazine with a pair of bonus free gifts to be had, depending on which edition you ultimately decide to go for.

Readers have a choice of grabbing either an additional Coruscant Guard minifigure with blaster rifle or a 62-piece brick-built AT-TE model alongside the Phase I Clone Pilot, with both versions of the monthly title priced at £7.99.

Opting for the first edition allows those with Clone Wars-era vehicles the opportunity to add the correct Phase I Clone Pilot to their LEGO Star Wars builds and represents a much cheaper option than purchasing 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter for £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99.

That same issue also includes an opportunity for collectors to expand their clone armies by picking up the same Coruscant Guard minifigure that has appeared in two previous LEGO Star Wars magazines, as well as the now-retired 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship.
