The LEGO Building Instructions server has revealed a first look at upcoming gift-with-purchase 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber.
Expected to be free with purchases of the rumoured 75313 AT-AT – a full unveiling of which is said to be coming later today – the 173-piece hilt follows the template established by last year’s 5006290 Yoda’s Lightsaber, with a brick-built stand and display plaque accompanying the elegant weapon for a more civilised age.
StoneWars reports that the freebie won’t come in the same yellow VIP packaging as Yoda’s hilt – which was available to early adopters of 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina in 2020 – but will instead arrive in the LEGO Group’s 18+ packaging, which is to say that it will likely be all-black.
We’ll hopefully know more on the specifics behind Luke’s lightsaber (or should that be Anakin’s, or even Rey’s?), along with when and how we’ll be able to get our hands on it, very shortly, so keep one eye on Brick Fanatics as the day unfolds…
