Rumour has it that the 2025 May the 4th LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set will have a new Jango Fett with much-needed upgrades.
The latest LEGO Star Wars rumour from maxbautde states that a new Jango Fett's Starship set is coming to the Ultimate Collector Series in May 2025, complete with a brand-new Jango Fett minifigure. The legendary Mandalorian will reportedly be joined by a young Boba Fett too, but the former character is arguably much more exciting.
Throughout the 25-year history of LEGO Star Wars, we've only had four Jango Fett minifigures, and one was suitably seasonal to boot. Of these four minifigures, the highest level of detail we've ever seen on them is leg printing.
Unlike his son, Boba Fett, Jango never managed to make the jump to arm printing but according to the rumour, it's finally time for his long-awaited upgrade. 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship is rumoured to include a Jango Fett minifigure with arm and leg printing, matching what is currently available for Boba Fett.
With any luck, the leg printing will cover more of the legs than ever before too, instead of just the top portion of his outfit below the waist. Printing on the side of the legs seems more unlikely since this is a rarity for LEGO Star Wars and not something that Boba Fett has been treated to yet either.
It's been a long journey for LEGO Jango Fett, but should this rumour turn out to be accurate, the most-detailed LEGO Jango Fett minifigure ever designed could be on shelves in just over six months. 75409 Jango Fett’s Starship is rumoured to cost €239.99 and launch on May 1, 2025.
While 75060 Slave I is part of the Ultimate Collector Series and would pair well with such a set, it has unfortunately retired and will coincidentally turn a decade old next year.
