The first-ever LEGO Star Wars set of General Grievous’s formidable Invisible Hand flagship cruiser is rumoured to be coming in 2024 – but maybe not in the way you’d expect…
Featuring prominently in the opening battle of Revenge of the Sith (it’s the cruiser aboard which Anakin and Obi-Wan face off against Count Dooku), the Invisible Hand is one of the last major movie flagships still awaiting its own LEGO Star Wars set. According to Promobricks’ Max Börnicke, it will get its due in 2024 – but as a midi-scale set rather than a playset (or even a UCS model).

All three sets would follow in a format re-established by this year’s 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer, as the LEGO Group reportedly gears up to replace its LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection with a new line of 18+ sets.
While we had to wait until the end of the Helmet Collection’s run to move beyond the original trilogy, 75377 Invisible Hand would take us firmly into prequel trilogy territory right from the off. The model is said to include 557 pieces for €52.99 in Europe, and will reportedly measure in at 30cm long. Like the Executor before it, the model will apparently include a stand and nameplate – along with a LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary brick.
The veteran licensed theme turns a quarter of a century old in 2024, which the LEGO Group is reportedly celebrating by inserting obscure characters into sets. 75377 is not expected to include any minifigures at all, but will apparently be able to split in half (replicating its ultimate fate in Revenge of the Sith), and is thought to include a small hangar for Anakin and Obi-Wan’s Jedi Starfighters.
