LEGO Star Wars Darth Maul set rumoured for June 2025

The LEGO Star Wars mech set we've been waiting for is now rumoured for June next year, bringing a beloved Sith character to the collection.

Continuing their AMA (ask me anything) on Instagram from earlier today, Max Baut on Instagram has responded to more questions, one of which reports that a fan-favourite character is getting a LEGO Star Wars mech model next year. This is still a LEGO rumour and as such it should be taken with caution.

It's stated that the rumoured 75411 character mech reported for June is to be Darth Maul, following 75368 Darth Vader Mech in 2023. This unique range of models has not been going on for long and only features four sets at the time of writing.

The addition of Darth Maul to this range after Darth Vader would make a lot of sense and while the LEGO Star Wars designers could stick to his black robe design, his appearance with the mechanical legs in The Clone Wars might be ideal for a LEGO Star Wars mech. 75390 Luke Skywalker X-Wing Mech has already proven that the character's main costumes don't need to be the sole inspiration for LEGO Star Wars mechs too.

Should they stick to the reliable design, the rumoured build might end up looking similar to the custom creation devised by iamthewallace. Either way, you would expect a Darth Maul mech to feature the character's signature double-bladed lightsaber.

LEGO Star Wars mechs haven't been the best source of rare minifigures so far and as such, we can likely expect the rumoured 75411 Darth Maul Mech to include the same Darth Maul minifigure that is featured in 75383 Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator.
