A full listing has appeared for the LEGO Star Trek gift-with-purchase, 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod, tied to the release of an upcoming set.
40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod will come at no extra cost for early adopters of 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, due for release on November 28. The 261-piece set is built to minifigure-scale, complete with Ensign Ro Laren. The ship itself features opening wing doors and a rear hatch. You can open the shuttlepod’s wing doors and rear hatch to see and access the inside of the ship.
You can already see how 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod looks next to 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D in a lifestyle image of both ships. With the smaller ship built at minifigure scale, the two ships aren't to scale with one another – but a minifigure-scale Enterprise would have been truly enormous.
LEGO 40768 Type-15 Shuttlepod will accompany 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D as a set-exclusive GWP upon its launch on November 28 until December 1, or while stocks last. The LEGO Icons set will retail at £349.99 in the UK, $399.99 in the US, and from €379.99 in Europe.
