Here's the review for VCARB – or maybe Racing Bulls? Whatever – it's the LEGO Speed Champions 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 review.
For a team with so many names in the world of Formula 1, we're glad the LEGO Speed Champions set has just one: 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1. The Red Bull B-team car saw a turbulent time of changing drivers in 2024 but thankfully none of that translates into its LEGO set, with just one anonymous driver included as a minifigure.
The focus is on the 2024 car and livery, so let's take a look at whether 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 is on the mark.
Release: March 1, 2025 Price: £22.99 / $26.99 / €26.99 Pieces: 248 Minifigures: 1 LEGO:
The return of the racing bull

Much like its sibling, 77243 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1, 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 has an impressively sharp print of the iconic racing bull, something we're eternally glad we didn't have to sticker. For such an iconic part of the team's branding, it's reassuring to know you can't really get it wrong.
There's also a combination of stickered and printed elements to continue the white-on-red stripe down the side, which makes it far easier to align as you're building than some of the other LEGO Speed Champions cars from this wave. This central part of the body is where most of the colour and creative building techniques can be found, with the wheel rims and the front and back wings all using fairly plain pieces on the whole.
Blue is (sort of) the colour

Speaking of colours, 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 catches the eye and stands out from the pack with its shade of dark azure – but it's not quite true to life. Although not as striking a difference as 77245 Aston Martin Aramco F1 AMR24, for example, the tone of the blue doesn't quite match the real-life car.
On the real grid, VCARB had a darker blue, closer to royal than azure. The LEGO Speed Champions designers may have been better off using straight-up blue for this build – or, much like with the Aston, splashing out for the tenth anniversary to create a new and more accurate colour.
While budget was likely a restriction, for a complete wave of all 10 cars, especially with some that manage to be incredibly accurate, it makes all the more obvious when some builds, like 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1, miss the mark.
More clunky than curvy

In terms of the build itself, the bulk of the visible body of the 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 comes from sloped pieces attached to the sides and manoeuvred down into place. There's not a lot of pieces that go into this section and it's left feeling a little lacking – as well as far from aerodynamic.
For example, immediately behind the wing mirrors (or spoons, if we're being technical), there's a 1x2 sloped piece that dips lower than the tile behind it. That's drawn into even sharper contrast by the fact there's a continuing stickered line running through these elements, making the gap especially clear.
The end result is a car that misses the crucially smooth curves that a Formula 1 car is known for. While the brightly-coloured build of 77246 Visa Cash App RB VCARB 01 F1 is no doubt fun and wouldn't be out of place in an unbranded range of race cars, there's just not enough accurate details for it to be in the same class as some of the others from this wave.
Honest opinion: A fun LEGO race car but without the accuracy that some other brick-built Formula 1 cars boast.
